Customer Support

Thank you for visiting our Customer Support page.
Your solar system is being monitored by our head office team. However, issues may occasionally arise that are outside of our control. Before contacting us, we recommend reviewing the troubleshooting tips below — many common problems can be resolved quickly and easily.

Top Troubleshooting Tips

Wi-Fi Connectivity

  1. Ensure the Wi-Fi light on your inverter is on.
    • If it’s off, refer to your Wi-Fi troubleshooting guide.
  2. Have you recently changed your Wi-Fi provider or password?
    • You’ll need to reconnect your inverter to the new network.
  3. This is the same process as reconnecting a phone, TV, or other smart device.
  4. Your installation documents include a step-by-step reconnection guide.
  5. Note: If your Wi-Fi is disconnected, your system is still generating power — only the monitoring is affected.

Fuse Board / Trip Switch

  • In the event of power loss or extreme weather, check your fuse board.
    • Look for a switch labelled “Solar PV”.
    • If it has tripped, you may reset it to the ON position — only if it is safe to do so.
    • ⚠️ Important: Do not reset the switch during severe weather warnings. Wait until it is safe to do so.

Eddi Controller – Troubleshooting Guide

Step-by-Step Guide

If your Eddi hot water diverter isn’t functioning correctly, please follow these checks before calling support:

01.

Check for Power

• Ensure the unit is on.
• If so, try a reset – turn it off, wait a few seconds, then turn it back on.

02.

Blank Display?

• Check your main fuse board.
• Look for a tripped switch marked “Immersion” or “Water Heater”.

03.

Eddi Keeps Tripping?

• This could mean a faulty immersion element – an electrician may need to inspect or replace it.

04.

Max Temperature Reached but No Hot Water?

If your screen says “MAX TEMPERATURE REACHED” but your water is cold:
    • Check the thermostat setting on the immersion.
    • Check and reset the high-limit safety trip on the element.
  • 05.

    Bypass Switch Test

    • There is a manual bypass switch underneath the Eddi controller.
    • This will send power directly to the immersion, bypassing Eddi.
    • If hot water still doesn’t come through, it’s likely the immersion heater element needs replacing.
